The time has come! Tomorrow we leave for Orlando to drop off the girls and Sunday morning we are outta this country! Thanks for the prayers. Satan has been busy but God has been busier! Please add an extra request to our list for Elizabeth's health. I had to take her to the doctor today and we are not sure what is wrong. She is fine except for some nasty bowel issues. I just pray they resolve quickly on their own so that no one has to take her in for tests. I am trusting that she is in God's hands and He will protect her no matter what the next steps (if any) are. Other than that things are in good shape. Eddie's Mom got here yesterday and got my kitchen sparkling right away, like she always does. :-) There are still some final things to pack but we don't have to hurry tomorrow. Eddie and the girls gave me an early birthday present of a locket with the girls' pictures in it. I cried and just hope I can wear it on the trip without endangering it.

As difficult as it has been to prepare to say goodbye to the girls, I am so excited about this trip! God has really been teaching me about trusting Him with all things, including HIS children that I have the privilege of being a mother too. I know this will be a great experience for Eddie and I to share in something bigger than ourselves together and help define where we want to go next in our lives as a family. I will admit, I'm exhausted from all this preparation and anticipation. As excited as I am to go, I'm looking forward to coming back without deadlines to face! So in closing, thank you for reading this. I know it means you are interested in our lives and I hope you will say a little prayer for us. I also hope by sharing in our experience it will inspire you to find some area of your life to take a leap of faith in and be amazed at what God can show you! Two weeks to go!

Well, things continue to move along as we prepare for our big adventure! We have been so blessed to receive more support in the past couple of weeks. Thank you to many of you! We still are a little short and ask for your continued prayers. Below is the list of prayer requests for our time away. It may be a little early, but its never too soon to start praying! Thank you!

Eddie and Tricia Genao ask you to Pray for:
• Safe travel: For us and our relatives traveling to help care for the girls (Gloria and Elizabeth)- also no major flight delays/cancellations and no lost luggage. (trip is July 19 - August 3, 2009)
• Health: For us and our team members to have good health during and after the trip.
o For the girls’ and their caregivers to have no health problems during or after the trip as well.
• Pray for Children of the Nations and their American, and Malawian staff as they prepare for and host us.
• Pray for us and the team to be able to show Christ’s love and not have it be about us as we minister.
• Pray for Eddie as he leads musical worship.
• Pray for the people and the children we will minister to.
• Pray for all those affected by the AIDS pandemic.
• Pray for us to have peace and focus on serving as God has called us to do while in Malawi.
• Pray for the girls to have peace and fun with their special time while we are gone.
• Pray that God would grow us and allow us to be changed.
